It is true, the building is closed, but Jesus is alive and reigning! What is more, he is building his church which after 2,000 years is larger today than at any time before. 

"I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it."                                                                     

 Matthew 16: 18

"Dear friends, don't overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief."
